WELCOME TO ESCALON

Coaching as a discipline, not a personality

We work with executives and senior leaders: from heads of function and divisional directors to chief executives and members of executive committees. Their decisions carry weight beyond the meeting room, and by the time they reach us, the easy answers are exhausted. Our coaching is a structured enquiry into what the role actually requires of you, what you have stopped noticing, and where habit works against intent.

Our Mission

To strengthen the judgement and presence of senior leaders and executives, so the decisions you were already capable of begin to happen earlier, with less internal cost. We do not add capability you lack. We recover capability obscured by speed, fatigue, and accumulated habit.

Our Approach

One-to-one engagement, structured around your real work rather than a generic model. We move between the immediate (a difficult conversation, a board paper, a hiring call) and the patterns underneath: what you keep meeting, and why.

STORY ABOUT ESCALON

Escalon Consultancy is a London-based coaching practice. We were founded in 2025 by senior practitioners who had spent more than a decade inside large organisations, in roles where leadership was not theoretical, and where the gap between what executive education teaches and what Tuesday morning demands was painfully visible. The practice exists because that gap does not close with another framework.

Our view is that leadership at the senior and executive levels is one of the most under-developed disciplines in business. There is more training available than ever, but most of it is generic, brief, and treats the leader as the unit of intervention. It rarely considers the systems they operate within or the habits they have accumulated. The work we do is slower, and tries to take both into account at once.

OUR WORKING PROCESS

Listen

Two or three opening conversations, off the clock. We want to understand what you are actually navigating: the situation as you experience it, not how you would describe it in an interview.

Map

A working picture of the patterns shaping your role: the pressures, the people, the unspoken constraints. Often the most useful early shift is simply seeing your situation more clearly.

Practise

The structured sessions where the work happens. Real decisions, real conversations, examined honestly. The pace is yours; the discipline of asking better questions is ours.

Sustain

A deliberate handover. What you have developed must hold without us, and you need to know how to course-correct on your own. We close with the structures that allow for that.

When coaching makes sense

Not every leadership challenge needs coaching. Some need a course, a peer group, or a holiday. We are useful when the role has outgrown the patterns that brought you to it; when you keep meeting the same problem in different costumes; or when you face a transition you cannot afford to think your way through alone.

What we hold ourselves to

We are deliberately a small practice. Each leader we take on works with the senior practitioner from start to finish: no handoffs to associates, no diluted attention. We measure ourselves on whether you can describe, six months in, what you have actually shifted; whether your team would notice; and whether you would hire us again. Those are the questions that matter, and we keep them in front of us.

Senior practitioners, structured methodology. Let's discuss your goals.
