We do not measure ourselves by hours logged, frameworks introduced, or decks produced. We measure by what has actually shifted in your decisions and behaviour six months in, and whether your team can tell.
Welcome to Escalon Consultancy
We are a new practice. We have a small number of current clients, and we do not display their names. What we can show is how we work, and what we hold ourselves to. The principles below are not aspirational; they describe the actual operating discipline of our practice. What you can expect us to do consistently, and what you can hold us to.
We do not measure ourselves by hours logged, frameworks introduced, or decks produced. We measure by what has actually shifted in your decisions and behaviour six months in, and whether your team can tell.
Coaching that flatters is a soft con. We will tell you what we observe, including what is uncomfortable to hear. The work depends on your willingness to hear it, and on our willingness to say it.
A small practice by design. Each leader we take on works with a senior practitioner from first conversation to final session. This limits our capacity. It also makes our work possible.
Some questions cannot be answered inside fifty minutes. Real shifts in how a leader operates take time, and we structure engagements around what the work requires rather than around weekly cadences for their own sake.
Nothing said in our sessions is shared with sponsors, HR, the board, or anyone else, in any form. This is not a guideline; it is the condition under which honest material surfaces. We have ended engagements over this. We will again.
Coaching is neither therapy nor consulting. There are moments when an observation, a reading suggestion, or a direct opinion is the most useful thing we can offer, and we do not hide behind a method when something more direct is what is needed. The judgement of when to do which is the practitioner's, made openly with you.
We aim to make ourselves unnecessary. A successful engagement leaves you with sharper judgement and structures you can run on your own, not with continued dependence on our presence. We will say when our work is done.
If this is the kind of practice you are looking for, we would like to hear from you.
